- b***a (3285)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseOh, this one was a LOT of fun to fix! Initially, it was just *REALLY* old firmware, which needed *REALLY* old software to update. And then? It bricked. So I got out my doing-dumb-things hat, took the thing apart, found the weird USB drive that powers the NAS, made a cable for it (looks like a tiny usb2 internal header), removed a few files and tried again. SUCCESS! I was then able to increment the firmware to current. THANK YOU FOR THE FUN CHALLENGE! It now has 5 8TB drives in it! :-D
