It did not have its original box and I'm good with that because this item will become part of my Christmas Village consisting of 85 to 100 lit houses that are displayed for 4 to 5 months of the year. It was completely packaged with plenty of padding to keep it protected from just about anything. I would recommend ProjectFlipStuff anytime.
