I've worked in IT for almost 12 years now and half of that was dealing with hardware, so I opened up the laptop to check what the motherboard and all of its attachments looked like. Everything was in perfect order I also updated the ram from 16gb to a 32gb kit with no issues. The only negative would be some light bleed when the screen is completely black which is a minor issue.
