The pump did look brand new when the pitiful packaging was removed. I installed it and it is working fine so I am a happy camper as long as it keeps working for 2 years or more (which if bought at a store I would have gotten a 2 year warranty). With this seller I get nothing as it is only good to the original owner. One has to be careful what one buys I guess.
