Description was deceptive in that the advertised and included power cord is for the keyboard dock, not the laptop itself; those power sources are not interchangeable. I already had a working charger/power cord for the laptop so it wasn't a huge issue for me, and one is easily available on amazon if not, but that oversight would be problematic for someone who did not have one
