The Fairphone is an excellent choice, but be aware that the warranty from the Fairphone company in the Netherlands is not available for people who purchase on eBay or from any unofficial sellers. There is one official seller in Europe who markets to the US and provides a Fairphone warranty. . . . I had a problem with one of the Fairphones that I purchased on eBay: it resets spontaneously after power off. This seller has been unresponsive about providing warranty information.
