I think the switch was either sticky or dusty internally, as it wouldn’t click on/off… it would get stuck in the middle, causing the signal to barely pass through. After clicking it on/off a bunch of times, it finally started to work. I assume it’s working correctly now, though the tone seems slightly filtered/muted when in the off position.
