This coin of Nero was minted under Claudius, just before Nero took the throne. Nero took the throne at age 16 and ruled until he was 30. That means he was betwen 12 and 16 on this coin. This is a genuine coin of Nero, struck in bronze, and in the exact condition you see pictured. Nero is mentioned in the Bible(though not by name, just as Caesar) in Acts 25:10-12. The obverse of this coin features a nice portrait of Nero and a legible legend. The reverse features a double axe and a legible legend. This is a coin that has been sought after by collectyors for years. It is a chance to own one that is guaranteed authentic. Grading is subjective. In my opinion the coin grades VF or super close to it. The coin patina does not look as green in hand, but the camera seems to pick it up and overexagerate it a bit. Please look at the photos to make your determination of grade.”
