the camera seems to be in good condition but does not turn on. i attempted to turn on camera and it showed “battery exhaust” and then hasn’t turned on. i might just have to buy a new battery for it and hope it turns on and works probably

The battery is new, you need to recharge the battery. If it say "battery exhausted" that means that camera did turn ON.
