CPU worked perfectly on a custom laptop build! I was changing out the motherboard from an AMD to Intel HM75 express board on a Hp-2000. Surprisingly this CPU works perfectly dispute never being officially supported on any official paperwork. So for any hopeful people using a Hp-1000, Hp-2000, HP250 G1, swap your Motherboard to 685108-001 or 694693-001, and you can install this CPU. Also the board DOES support 16gb Ram not 8gb. ANY HM75-77 chipset/G2 socket should be able to use the i7-3840QM.
