Seller Notes: “Wooden book box, the original leather that it used to be wrapped in is pretty much all missing with ... “Wooden book box, the original leather that it used to be wrapped in is pretty much all missing with the exception of a patch on the back and the bottom of the box. Inside of the box is papered, to the back is a plate that reads, "Izzard, By Appointment, To Her Majesty. Upp. Brook Street" James Izzard was a bookseller at the location. Box is missing one of its nails that held the upper corner wooden slab to the top piece of the box. The majority of the books themselves have extensive wear, see the larger description below for a list of the titles comprised along with their condition issues. All books have cloth binding, with ornate uniform stamping, gold gilt page edges and illustrations throughout. See pictures for condition references, ask questions before purchasing!”
