Seller Notes: “Hard to find hood specifically made for the G-III QL 17 Canonet, it's a plastic slip on hood with a ... “Hard to find hood specifically made for the G-III QL 17 Canonet, it's a plastic slip on hood with a tightening screw. No case or box. The hood has a specific shape designed to minimize the obstruction of view in the finder (you can see the hood in the finder, but the shape of the curved part on the left is angled so you only see the thickness of the plastic edge rather than the surfaces of the hood). When I first saw this I thought it was warped because of the unusual shape, you can see the angle of that corner on the upper right how it is angled inwards minimizing it's appearance in the view (you can clearly see the hood in the view, but you just see a black line rather than the surfaces of the hood). In my photos there is dust on the inside black baffling which I since brushed off with a soft brush. No damage or cracks, it does have some surface wear from use. In over 20 years of picking up the giii ql17 this was the first one I've come across.”
