Brown leather-like spine with gold lettering, marbled hardback covers, tight binding and faded gilt dipped pages enhance the appeal of this rare first edition. Previous owner's name and inscription appear on the frontispiece, but remaining text is unmarked. Discolouration of pages is consistent with the vintage of the item. Edges of some pages are flaking but the integrity of the text is in tact.”
