The box came damaged. Collectible items should be wrapped in bubble wrap and in a box, not just in a bubble wrap bag. Legos go up in value as they retire so the box condition is very important.

A note for buyers: Please send a message requesting additional packaging if you are buying an item as a collectible. We do not list these items as collectible and do not automatically double box, but would be happy to do so upon request (shipping charge would be adjusted accordingly). We certainly understand wanting to preserve boxes in certain circumstances, but a lego set currently on the shelf at walmart would be not automatically be considered a collectible item.
