It probably works best on hard floor as it's got the non slip on the one side but I've put some hook strips on and it doesn't move now on my carpet. But I would recommend getting 2 metres of the hook adhesive strips to cut up and stick on, as that's how much I used. Brand new condition on arrival. Decent value. Looks great. Very fast delivery
