Packaging was simple but the item is heavy and strong thus unlikely to get damaged. Postage was great as l was able to pay the import duty in advance otherwise it would be a waste of time ordering it due to the charges that would be added at this end. I just love it but this one is for my daughter so l have now ordered one for myself. May not be gold but worth every penny and with this l remember my grandma
