    Three volumes - True First Edition, found in Worlds of IF, Magazine. Two of the three volumes are in Very Good to Near, Very Good+ condition, the third is in Very Good- condition, and, all were issued without dust jackets. The books and their, contents are in generally clean, bright condition. There is, some light bumping, rubbing and wear to the spine ends corners, and edges of the covers. The white covers are in mostly clean,, bright condition. The bottom spine end of the January Edition, has a one inch+ tear to the paper, but NOT to the text block, underneath. The text pages are clean and bright with only, beginning generalized toning. "Podkayne of Mars is a science, fiction novel by American writer Robert A. Heinlein, originally, serialised in Worlds of If (November 1962, January, March 1963), , and published in hardcover in 1963. The novel is about a, teenage girl named Podkayne "Poddy" Fries and her younger,, asocial genius brother, Clark, who leave their home on Mars to, take a trip on a spaceliner to visit Earth, accompanied by, their uncle. This book and Starship Troopers were written for a, publisher expecting to market a juvenile science fiction novel,, and both raised serious objections from the publisher." "The, novels that Heinlein wrote for a young audience are commonly, called "the Heinlein juveniles", and they feature a mixture of, adolescent and adult themes. Many of the issues that he takes, on in these books have to do with the kinds of problems that, adolescents experience.
