The Roo4 material is just as thin and flimsy between lugs as the 3 (which I’m replacing). Running them on an 890 adv R. Although more prone to puncture (replacing Roo3 because of) this is a phenomenal front tire for 50/50 riding but I’ll still throw on a motor front for serious trail riding. Otherwise, the Metzler Karoo rips around the twisties with nearly the same planted feel as a more sport or touring tire would and points itself well in the loose and sandy dry AZ riding I do.
