I see no damage to them and they have had excellent care and very secure storage for many years. The strap is securely attached to the binoculars at both ends. The lining of the original case is frayed near the top where it meets the lid but it can be reglued. One piece of the leather hinge has separated as reflected in the last photo. Otherwise it is in very solid condition.”
