Item only had the barest suggestion of any packaging material, especially inadequate for a heavy, rather fragile item such as this typewriter. Item was heavily damaged upon receipt although the exterior box was intact. Item was described as not working when sold but this is much different than broken off and jammed together key rods and multiple other bent and broken parts not as pictured by seller. This was damage clearly caused by totally inadequate packing material.
