In reality, one side of iems was completely filled with ear wax. It makes you wonder whether seller done this before, and they just forgot to deep clean these before passing them off as they describe them. I hope not. Hopefully, this is just a fluke
Was able to get a refund via assistance from eBay's guarantee, which is able to force a refund after tracking shows the return arrived back to the seller.

Items shipped fast and arrived within 3 days of order. Arrived exactly as described, official replacement parts from Sennheiser factories. I had intended on using these to replace some aftermarket pads on a pair of headphones I had bought used here on ebay, but the same model went on sale so I bought a brand new pair and returned the used ones. I will however be keeping these as the pads need regular replacing so I expect these will come in handy before long.
