Where you don't get the options with this that you do with an idrive, it works better overall. My fuel consumption was reduced by about 1.2 lph and where it didn't give me close to the power the idrive did in tow mode, it certainly give me more power than stock and was by far a lot smoother in acceleration. Overall if pick this over the idrive based on the overall performance and certainly over factory.
