A magnification of 1:4.8x at 135 mm allows photographers to take close-up shots at a distance. As a wide-angle lens, the Tamron AF17M700 utilizes a rotating manual focus. The focus in this Tamron camera lens for Minolta is designed to glide smoothly, allowing for fast adjustments. Low-dispersion glass lenses inside use multi-coating technology to help eliminate aberrations and keep colors vibrant. Additionally, the coating reduces ghosting and lens flares. 16-element lenses in 14 groups combine with 28 mm - 200 mm f/3.8-5.6 to ensure sharp images at any available range. Additionally, the Tamron AF17M700 lens is made in a lightweight design in an ergonomic shape for ease of handling during long hours of shooting.
