    Item was not in a box. The outside of the tube containing the makeup had smears on it, looking like color from a different color stick had rubbed on it. The stick itself does appear brand new, and the price was good, so I can't really complain. The stick did have a little nick in it (though appearing new) but this makeup is pretty soft so I don't suspect it of being used.

    Unfortunately the box was damaged so I could not send it in the box...otherwise the item is brand new, never used... the nick might have been when I took a photo & put the cover back on...sorry for the inconvenience...
