He wanted me to go to the post office and have them figure it out (knowing full well how much time that will take and how unlikely it will happen). The real issue is he did not package the item safely enough which is the reason the item came damaged. Then he offered an insultingly low 20 dollars. I sent him a quote for 160 dollar (the cost of repair) and he declined
