Das Objektiv AF-S VR 105 mm f/2.8G IF-ED von Nikon bietet die Vorteile der Vibrier-Reduzierung (VR) für Makrofotografie.Die hohe Auflösung und die ausgezeichneten optischen Leistungen eignen sich sowohl für digitale als auch für analoge Spiegelreflexkameras 24x36, so dass es um so interessanter ist, wenn Sie mehrere Gehäuse besitzen. Dieses Objektiv bietet also das System zur Vibrierreduktion der zweiten Generation von Nikon (VR II), so dass Freihandaufnahmen spürbar erleichtert werden. Die Verschlussgeschwindigkeit kann somit bis zu 4mal langsamer sein als die, die normalerweise mit Objektiven ohne VR verwendet wird, so dass das Bild stabilisiert wird.Der SWM Motor (Silent Wave Motor) und die interne Fokussierung (IF) gewährleisten unter anderem ein leises automatisches Fokussieren. Der Übergang vom Autofokus auf die manuelle Fokussierung ist unmittelbar.
