The nesting bowl & lid are as described, but they do not belong together. Perhaps the lid goes to a casserole dish? As a buyer, I should have inquired; thinking that this was perhaps a grease jar, my bad.
Only suggestion to the seller would be to use more protective packaging material for glass items & allow 2-3 inches on all sides for potential impact. I was amazed & relieved that the "shipping gorillas" did not damage the parcel.
