As for the item: solid construction, decently firm installation (can only get so strong before requiring drilling and bolting, in fairness.) Easily supports my AKG P420; probably overkill. Need to be mindful when adjusting position to avoid applying overt leverage to the base. Shipped quickly enough, item was as described. Arrived in the product's bare box which isn't ideal but given it's just a microphone stand and not, say, a graphics card, I don't care that much.
