The TDK Professional and regular TDK Dat tapes, are the only brand that works well with my Sony DTC77ES. It's a four head machine, and all other brands after a few plays, have digital errors on play back. Be it, Sony, Fugi, Ampex, BASF or Maxell, the deck has been checked out and cleaned, and while this doesn't happen all the time with other brands, it happens enough. So TDK Professional and regular TDK Dat tapes are a life saver. ( p. s. I sometimes use them also with my other decks)
