This is a high quality item, but Uniden is super proud of them and the price reflects it. With the condition of this one for the price it was the best possible scenario for getting this scanner without one just dropping out of the sky. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. There is a learning curve, but u-toob is your friend. It will decode P25 trunking with ease in real time. It will NOT de-cypher AES256 encryption. They seem to be made of tin and also are so light as to be laughable.
