They don’t last very long and have to be replaced every two years from the weather. The jute string isn’t very safe and can break easy, so my husband put a chain on it to hang. The cost is reasonable to where I will just replace it every two years if I have to. It’s very pretty and the finches have built their nests in my old one both years and they are now doing the same in this one.

Can get much more torque on it with the ability to push down on one side while pulling up with the other hand.
