The bottom hole is rather large and it easily allows the treats to fall out. Depending on the situation and the dog, this can be good or it can be bad. Either way, the irregular shape creates a very erratic and uneven bounce which makes it a lot of fun for my dog to chase and catch. The rubber construction is very durable and I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun out of this over a very long time.
