It's too bad they stopped making these probably 20+ years ago. The leather top and foam bottoms make these so comfortable. The leather naturally forms to one's foot. The newer inserts are all plastic and foam, and cannot compare to this old design. The date on the unopened, original package is 1998. Even though they are ~25 years old, they're still soft and comfortable.
