The shoes smell fresh like they were sprayed or tossed in the wash but there's So Much dog hair on the inside that definitely wasn't pictured in the description. I've been vacuuming & picking dog hair out of the insole for the last 30 min, I'm seriously debating on returning them & using the $$return to just invest in a new pair. We don't own animals for this reason. Just a note, if you're planning on selling stuff over $45, no hair.
