Very disappointing purchase. It's my fault because I didn't read the description as closely as I should have, nor did I notice certain things in the picture.
Please do the whole world a big favor and NEVER clean, wash, or polish coins, particularly those that might conceivably have some numismatic value. Even the Smithsonian Institution had to find out the hard way that you simply don't do that unless it is done by a highly trained professional. 99% of the time you cut the coin's value.
