Ricoh's SMCP-FA 77mm f/1.8 lens was specifically designed for portrait photography, and Ricoh has tried its best to ensure that the photos produced by this lens reflect the true colors and textures as much as possible. It also offers a maximum aperture of f/1.8 for a great bokeh effect on those portrait photos, while also allowing for clear backgrounds with a minimum aperture of f/22. The fixed focal length of 77mm is a good fix for portrait photos, and the minimum focus length of 0.7 meters (roughly 2.3 feet) allows you to stand at as close a distance from your subject as you will need.
