From the time of analog, things were built well, and I think sounded better than most digital offerings - something the late Tom Petty understood very well. The vintage audio shop took extra care in the packaging of the stereo pre-amp I received, and I am very happy with the results. For younger people who feel they are missing out on a good music listening experience - the vintage audio shop is a good first stop.
