I’m very pleased to confirm that the matter has been resolved satisfactorily and the refund has been received. The only suggestion that I would make to the seller (although hopefully the situation won’t arise again) is that she keeps the buyer in the loop from the start. I would have felt less anxious if she’d replied straight away to say that she was on the case and processing the cancellation. I panicked when I heard nothing. I appreciate that her personal situation was somewhat fraught.
