Product Information
Tactical roleplaying game from Square, broken up into seven unique chapters. Each chapter has its own set of characters, music, graphical presentation and gameplay elements. In "Contact," players take on caveman Pogo who communicates via symbols, while "Inheritance" serves up an ancient Chinese setting with a kung-fu theme. There is also a Western storyline, Japanese jidai-geki, a fantasy story in a medival world, a wrestling theme set in a modern day setting, and two sci-fi stories in which players take on the roles of a young boy and a robot. The final chapter brings together characters from the entire game for a very unique showdown. Sadly, Live A Live was never released outside Japan.
