    This guard is taped directly to the exterior door but the tape doesn't stick very well, I tried very hard to stick it in place but after a few days it still gaps and I'm scared of falling off. Also, I bought it to reduce wind noise, but it had little to no effect, and the noise seemed to get louder. They were slow to respond when I contacted them. I ended up taking guards off and the seller wouldn't allow a return after installing them. Won't be using it anymore.
