      The chainring is aluminum, not steel. I shared this with seller. They assured me it's steel - it's magnetic. It's not. I will avoid thehouseofcogs and I encourage others to look elsewhere. One of the great things about eBay is there's often a choice among sellers for common products. This seller is either clueless, or deceptive.

YOU CRAZY! 🎶 Seriously folks, this gent is the most deranged buyer I’ve encountered so far this year, and that’s saying something: I sell over 10,000 items annually. I’m unsure if the magnet he used is past it’s sell-by date, but the one I tested the ring with at the shop latched on like a mentally disturbed shopper sending messages of complaint ad nauseum instead of submitting a return request. As a wise man once said: SHEESH! 🙄
