It's secured behind the plate with small screws on one side and uses a small hole for the groundglass pin on the other side to go through. Makes camera larger of course but viewfinder is still relatively small in size with the benefits it gives compared to using focus cloth. Also nice that it can rotate between portrait and landscape. Seller communication was very good with updates on production and delivery times.
