My 2000 Honda Civic LX sedan needed a new hood pull tab for the latch mechanism on the inside, and this absolutely did the trick. Just to be extra safe, I took a bit of JB weld steak and jammed it in there, quickly smushed the new tab over the metal lever arm, soaked the set pin screws in red loctite, and tightened it up .
