Seller Notes: “These watches are absolutely new, with one problem. The lid on the top of the watch opens and ... “These watches are absolutely new, with one problem. The lid on the top of the watch opens and closes by a spring-hinge. The springs in these few watches are a bit loose, which means that although the lid closes ok when in a face up position, it doesnt stay closed when the watch head is held upside down, and sort of hangs open a little. Its not a big problem and can be solved by using a tiny dot of BlueTack or plastacine under the lid. It can also be solved permanently by getting a watchmaker to change the spring for you, but this would mean spending more time on these when we are just trying to clear them out now.We have a very limited number of these defective ones so are going to clear them out at just over half of what they are selling for in perfect condition in our store.The description below is for the perfect watches, so pls note that this disclaimer supercedes the description. Everything else in the description is the same. The watch will be shipped in a no frills poly”
