I have small kids with big horses. The problem with putting a 10-inch saddle on a big-bellied horse is that you not only need a really long cinch, but you need a cinch that won't slip, since 10-inch saddles have no form and little kids are squirrelly. I have tried nylon with felt and with neoprene, special draft horse cinches, various other accessories, and have never found a good solution, until now. This mohair cinch is amazing. Good fit, comfortable for the horse, and DOESN'T SLIP!!!!!

It's heavier than I expected, but it is beautiful and fits my horse perfectly. I've used it in 3 horse shows and I've gotten quite a few compliments. Also, my horse doesn't toss his head or jab his nose out like he did with his Tom thumb bit. He doesn't care for the weight but even so, he's clearly happier with this bit than he was before!
