The cores seem to be someone cleaning out bad units that have had unsuccessful repair attempts. The first one I purchase had been opened, case damaged and amateurish repair attempts done, the second one had screws missing.

Seller also sent a different unit than what was pictured which is quite normal but now they are trying to make the claim I am attempting to return a different unit.
