A book that has been read but is in excellent condition. No obvious damage to the cover, with the dust jacket included for hard covers. No Jackets. 1st Edition., Large two volume set. Internal sheets all white and clean, Macmillan and Co, 1906. 1st Ed. .Walter William Skeat, (1866-1953) Ethnologist and Administrator. Skeat spent six, years (1891-97) in Selangor, working for the Selangor civil, service. under William Edward Maxwell, then resident of the, state and himself an outstanding Malay scholar. Blagden, contributed the chapters on aborigine dialects. Illustrated, with remarkable photographs of the people in the local groups., G+/VG-.
