The broken piece in the photo was a link coupler that was going to be remove anyway. I plan to connect the cars with diaphrames. (sp?) It is how people travel between cars in motion. I saw it in an article how to make it on a HO train. I suspect a learning curve here. Arrival of the car was quick and well packed.
