The metal washer inside was very rusted and was the most likely reason for the spots on the pony, but I didn’t notice any obvious signs of rust besides the spots until I opened the head of the pony and found it was rather dirty due to the rusty washer. Overall it was exactly as the seller described from what they could tell without opening the pony up, and was shipped out swiftly.
