The changer had significant corrosion to the chassis and the wiring. There was a cartridge with 6 discs stuck in the mechanism. I was able to free that up and remove it, but could not get the changer to respond to the application of power or light to the connectors. The flat ribbon connector was also corroded, and that part is NLA. As a result the changer was beyond repair.
The seller was instantly responsive and gave a full refund without return of the part.
